EXEC return value

I want to integrate odbic with PHP.

I have a portal written on ODBIC and some thirdparty functions written on php.

My idea is to call <!--EXEC php test.php--> and simply display the result in responce, but my version doesn't support it.

Is any workarounds to solve my problem?
